Hey, welcome to Stuck In The Rut, the official blog of Petersen’s BOWHUNTING magazine. I don’t know about you, but I’ve always been stuck in the rut. For me, the year basically consists of October, November and 10 months of waiting for October and November. If you don’t believe me, just ask my wife!
Anyway, if you’re a hardcore bowhunter like me and the rest of the BOWHUNTING team, you’re going to love this blog. This is the place where we’ll be sharing our own personal field reports as we chase game across North America. We’ll also share trail camera photos, offer shooting and gear tips, keep you up to date on the latest news from the bowhunting community and tackle your questions.

Actually, I grew up in Rhode Island! But you know what? I didn’t start hunting until after I attended college in Pennsylvania. So, no, I have never actually hunted in New England. But one of my goals now is to kill a deer in my home state sometime.
