Quest's new Torrent: A Good Value Bow

Quest's new Torrent: A Good Value Bow

Quest Bowhunting doesn't necessarily generate as much buzz as some of the more glamorous bow makers, but the company (a division of G5 Outdoors) makes very solid, reliable bows at prices that compare quite favorably to the competition. Here at Petersen's Bowhunting, we've had high regard for the Quest lineup for a number of years, and Associate Editor Drew Pellman used the Quest Primal on many of his 2011 hunts. If you are looking for a rugged, reliable bow with a list of features that stacks up well against many other bows costing hundreds more, Quest is definitely a brand I'd look at by visiting www.questbowhunting.com.

One of the new-for-2012 rigs from Quest is the Torrent. This is a good looking bow that's certainly capable of taking down anything you can chase with a bow and arrow. Here's a photo of the Torrent and the news release from Quest:

Quest Bowhunting, a division of G5 Outdoors, introduces the new Torrent bow that focuses on the perfect combination of smoothness, speed, and forgiveness - a supreme bow for all types of hunters. The short, 7-inch brace height and new Fluid Cam technology give archers the extra boost of speed they are looking for without sacrificing smoothness or laser point accuracy.

The addition of Quest's patented I-Glide system reduces torque on the cables and greatly improves smoothness throughout the entire draw cycle. With the release of the new Torrent, Quest proudly merges some of their very best state-of-the-art technology to date into one outstanding bow specifically built for bowhunting fanatics.

"We are proud to introduce a bow that highlights smoothness, speed, and forgiveness into one tack-driving machine," stated Quest President and co-owner Matt Grace. "The Torrent is truly the archer's bow for 2012."
