String Servings & Stalking Tips with Randy Ulmer Randy Ulmer, Full Draw Columnist |
Randy Ulmer continues to amaze us with the quality of animals he harvests. Bowhunting Magazine's Full Draw columnist does his best hunting work from the ground, and is a true specialist for big mule deer and elk, as well as a variety of other species. Early in the 2006 bowhunting season, Randy had already tallied big mulie bucks in Nevada and Colorado, and also drew and filled the only non-resident mountain goat tag in Colorado.
Randy's background as a competition archer and his perfectionist style of bow rigging and tuning make him perfectly qualified to discuss bow set up, including specifically, string center servings and the serving of accessories such as peep sights and string loops. Randy's got some nifty ideas for secure serving that holds up shot after shot, as well as tips for closing the deal from the ground on that animal-of-a-lifetime.
