Quiet Sight
Hunters demand quiet equipment. From fleece lined pants to string silencers, hunters are always on the quest for products that help keep them close to game.

Hunters demand quiet equipment. From fleece lined pants to string silencers, hunters are always on the quest for products that help keep them close to game. In today's vast array of archery products, manufacturers are incorporating noise and vibration dampening technology into practically every product available. Pioneering this technology in the sight category and in their line of accessories, Fuse Archery's Custom Series Of Sights includes Fuse's Shock Rod Technology. Each sight housing holds five individual Shock Rods made from LimbSaver Navcom material, which eliminates noise and vibration that at times can be associated with the accessories attached to the bow. Shock Rods allow a full 360 degrees of motion, demolishing shock and sound at the shot. The Custom Series of Sights include four designs--the Buckhorn, Monarch, Profire and Intrepid--and are available with eight different pin housings and three different color options. I was sent the Monarch with the 500 housing. When hunting out west and shooting 3D I demand at least a five or six-pin sight. This five-pin sight has a bubble level to keep you level on target and has micro vertical and horizontal gang pin adjustment features. New for 2006, the 300 and 500 Coil Dual housings are designed with dual pin tracks for minute pin adjustments for the smallest of pin gaps. After shooting two arrows from 20 yards and making one vertical adjustment I was hitting bull's-eyes in ten minutes. Shooting 70 pounds and at 291 fps, I had no problems setting my pin gaps which ask for tighter pin spaces. The single-track five-pin configuration worked perfectly on my high-speed arrow slinger. For the western shooter, the 600 housing is offered and it comes with six pins.
