Usually when considering what broadhead to use I look to a few important characteristics to help in my purchasing decision: scary sharp blades, a stout and sturdy ferrule and a cutting diameter of at least one-inch. Typically, fixed blade broadheads have always dressed my hunting arrows. However, in the last few years I've branched out of my security setups and began experimenting with a number of mechanical operating heads. The most recent is the new Rage 2-Blade 100-grain broadhead.
