Destroy Shock And Noise

Destroy Shock And Noise

An active stabilizer is as important to an archer's setup as any other accessory we mount to our bow. The ability to quiet our bow and its' accessories has been a prime focal point for manufacturers and is evident in the products you see available today. Vibracheck's eight-inch Omega is their newest hunting inspired stabilizer. Weighing nine-ounces the Omega is constructed of all-machined lightweight aluminum. The key to the Omega is the free-floating weighted rod in the middle. This visible rod, thanks to handsome machined deer hoof cutouts, is suspended in VibaSORB gel and is capable of 360 degrees of movement. Pressure is applied to both ends of the stabilizer during and after the shot so nasty vibration and shock can be soaked up immediately. The Omega includes anodized components for durability in all climates and is finished in Kolorfusion camouflage. To really see how effective the Omega was, I pulled out an older compound model we had lying down in our storage room, a bow that isn't quite as technologically advanced as what we see today! I first shot the bow without a stabilizer to see how much the beast needed taming. Not surprisingly, there was a noticeable twang and a mild stroke of hand shock upon release, something I was actually hoping for. I slapped on the Omega and immediately noticed the lack of hand shock and noise. My first experience with Vibracheck products was in 2005 and I can honestly say that whenever shock and noise are an issue, Vibracheck is a product you can depend on in the field. Also, check out their stabilizer accessories, Hush Kits and Vibracheck B.E.S.T grip system.
