Shootability is the name of the game as the Synergy is designed with the bowhunter specifically in mind. With a 33 1/2-inch axle-to-axle length and 7 3/8-inch brace height, the new Synergy fills the gap between the Energy 32 and 35. Weighing just 4.4 pounds, these mid-sized measurements make the Synergy versatile and maneuverable, especially when dealing with those tricky treestand and ground blind shots.
Not only is the Synergy quick and versatile, but it’s extremely accurate, too. The cam and mod systems have been overhauled in an effort to provide a draw as smooth as silk without sacrificing performance. Energy is distributed evenly throughout the bow thanks to Elite’s Riser Cage design and the Synergy two-track cam system. These features culminate at the point of release, maximizing the combination of speed and smoothness with an impressive IBO speed rating of 325 fps.
A new feature for 2015 is the Pro Kote finish technology. Mixing a special blend of proprietary composites, pigments, agents and modifiers, the result is a high-density, durable, chip-resistant coating with anti-friction properties that is designed to handle long-term abuse. Another advantage of the Pro Kote technology is how the non-reflective matte finish absorbs light, so no need to worry about unwanted glares scaring off the game.
Elite has also incorporated their own string stop technology with input from professional shooter Levi Morgan. Like the Energy series, the Synergy utilizes Limbsaver broadband limb dampeners, which are available in a wide variety of colors, as well as Winners’ Choice BCY-X bow strings.
Also new for 2015 from Elite is the 39-inch axle-to-axle tournament bow, the Victory.
The Synergy has an MSRP of $949.99 and is available now.
