So, from all of us to all of you, we wish you a safe and enjoyable 2012 holiday season. May 2013 bring many stories of success out in the field.

Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2013

Join in the hunt at home with Cabela's Dangerous Hunters 2013 for your Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, or Playstation 3. Group hunting and attacking tactics make for smarter, deadlier and more challenging predators across the board. And now, the brand new Maneater Co-op mode allows for two players to join as one to take on each increasingly deadly threat. Users have the choice to play the game with your standard game controllers or with the Top Shot Fearmaster firearm. This unit utilizes a biometric heart monitor that will affect gameplay based on your ability to maintain your cool and control your feat. A lower heart rate will steady your aim, increase your accuracy and get you ever closer to escaping your mission alive. Sold as part of the game bundle.

T.R.U. Ball Fang

A rubber trigger insert for exceptional feel is just one of the features incorporated into T.R.U. Ball's new release for 2013 — the Fang. The release is a hook-style device with a pair of trigger options to choose from. The first is a straight trigger for more draw and speed — the other a relaxed trigger for maximum comfort. With a separate trigger pressure setting screw, you can choose your preferred weight spring package. A red anodized hook and trigger combination gives you a winning look as well.

Button Buck

Need a last minute idea for the young hunters in your life? Now they have an outdoor brand, appropriately named Button Buck, that is designed just for them. If you have a 12-year-old or younger, you'll want to check out the Original Button Buck tee, a shirt that features the company logo and is sure to become an instant favorite. Made in the USA, each shirt is vintage-soft and fashionably cut, and also features a screenprinted interior tag to prevent itch. Shirts are Heather Grey in color with brown print (and also available with Pink Glitter print).

Price: $20

Ozonics

Unlike scent-eliminations sprays or clothing with various scent-eliminating properties, Ozonics is in a category by itself as the only ozone machine designed to be used in the field for both ground blind and treestand application. Ozone has been used for decades in a variety of air purification and scent-elimination applications and is a proven technology in that regard. But Ozonics is the first company to transfer that know-how to the deer woods. In simple terms, the HR-200 uses a small, quiet, battery-powered fan to suck air in, pass it across an electrically charged coil and then shoot it out the front of the unit. As the air passes across the coil, some of the oxygen molecules in the air are transformed into ozone molecules. Since ozone molecules are heavier than air, you set the unit up over your head (on stand) or by a downwind window (in a blind) and the ozone slowly sinks through your scent stream, eliminating any odor molecules it encounters along the way.

Trophy Taker Rest

Trophy Taker had an instant hit with its PRO Series of arrow rests, and let it be known that it didn't take any time off heading into 2013. Fans of full-capture rests, listen up because this one is for you. You now have the option of adding a containment ring to the PRO Series rest of your choice. The ring utilizes a flexible rubber flap to guard the ring opening and it fully captures your arrow when nocked. For the popular SmackDown Pro, attachment can be made to the upper limb, lower limb, or your up cable. For The X-Treme FC Pro, rests attach to your bow's down cable. An unconditional lifetime warranty is placed on all PRO Series rests.

Price: $129

Rinehart Target

Strong, durable, lightweight and compact — not many targets on today's market can claim to be all of those things. Rinehart Targets, however, has introduced the Woodland 14 to its Woodland Series line and it features all of those characteristics. Measuring a perfect cube at 14x14 inches, the product is large enough to handle any shot from every angle, but is small enough to move and transport with ease. Made from FX foam, the Woodland 14 can easily stop your field points or any type of broadhead and will hold up in any weather condition. For a larger option, also check out the Woodland 16.

Price: $90

Trophy Ridge React

Simplicity is key. That's what makes the new React Sight from Trophy Ridge so great. Not only is it unlike anything else on the market, it's very easy to understand. What's unique about the React is the fact that the pins will literally sight themselves in. All you need to do is get the 20- and 30-yard pins properly tuned using the micro windage and elevation adjustments and the bottom three pins will automatically move to 40, 50 and 60 yards by using the master adjustment knob on top of the device. The sight is calibrated to work regardless of bow model or arrow speed. If you do things right, you can have a brand new rig sighted in and ready to roll in 10 minutes. Weighing 10.3 ounces, the React is constructed from Trophy Ridge's exclusive Ballistix copolymer that offers the strength of aluminum at a fraction of the weight. The React also sports a rubberized finish, .019-inch fiber optic pins, Rheostat pin light, sight level and reversible mounting bracket.

Price: $159

Bowfile Case

The additions keep on coming for Lakewood Products. The company has now unveiled its new Elite Series of Bowfile drop-in bow cases, featuring an 18 percent reduction in overall weight. That's not all, however, as the newly engineered interior structure and components make the cases tougher and stronger than ever. Still there though is the convenience that you will have out in the woods. Simply open the case and drop your bow inside, without the need to detach your quiver, and you're completely ready to roll when you get to your desired hunting location.

Price: $189

Sitka Merino Base Layer

Nothing ruins a good hunt like cold weather. But it doesn't always have to be like that. Sitka Gear's new Merino wool Core Zip T and Core Bottom help regulate body temperature without being too thick, and they are ideal base layers from early season through late season. Early in the fall when low temperatures are only in the 40s and 50s, these base layers are great on their own below a light jacket and pants. And as the season progresses and temperatures drop to freezing or even plunge into the single digits, simply add additional mid layers as conditions warrant. Don't let the cold weather make you end your hunt early.
