After foolishly passing on this buck at 10 yards the previous night, I vowed not to make the mistake, if given another opportunity. As luck would have it, the same buck came in to investigate a group of does the following evening, November 8, 2015. I needed him to stop in one of the few shooting lanes available, which a mouth grunt accomplished. A 34 yard broadside shot and a short tracking job later, resulted in my best buck to date.
