It’s no secret that most bowhunters are release aid shooters. We realize that there are very few finger shooters out there in comparison. However, while most bow shooting tips focus on release aid shooters, finger shooters are not forgotten.

For those looking to brush up on their skills, or if you’re just wanting to try something new, there are a few key points to keep in mind that will improve your technique and efficiency.

BOWHUNTING field editor Bill Winke shows you how to become a more proficient finger shooter.

finger shooters ARE forgotten. i’m an old finger shooter, haven’t shot bows for 20 years. recently I went looking for a new bow, my choices were very limited thanks to all bow company’s deciding EVERYONE needs short ATA’s.
so now I have to learn to use a release, spend an extra $100 for it,. and get use to / adjusted to shooting this new bow.
thanks to all the bow corp’s for limiting our options and telling us what we really want!!! that’s sarcasm if you can’t tell…
