Fred Bear & Primos Announce Agreement

ATLANTA, GA-- JANUARY 5, 2006-- Fred Bear® Archery and Primos Hunting Calls today finalized a long-term 10-year agreement with a ceremonial contract signing during the Archery Trade Association (ATA) conference and show in Atlanta.

On hand for the history-making event was Primos Hunting Calls founder and president, Will Primos, and Jim Allshouse, president of Escalade® Sports, parent company of Fred Bear® Archery.

"Today will cement months of discussion with Will and the Primos team, whose reputation as the world premier manufacturer of hunting calls and equipment along with his number-one rated Truth® About Hunting television show, Truth® video series and Team Primos pro staff is a natural fit for the archery innovation, history and ethical truths promoted by our company founder, the legendary Fred Bear," said Allshouse.

The trail blazed by the late Fred Bear, considered the father of modern bowhunting, admittedly was a major influence in Primos1 decision to partner with his namesake company, Fred Bear® Archery. The decade-long agreement that will establish the following:

--Fred Bear® Archery will become the sole provider of hunting bows for all Primos television (title archery equipment sponsor), video and pro staff.

--Starting in the Fall of 2006, Fred Bear® Archery will introduce the "Team Primos Series" of hunting bows for the 2007 product season.

--Fred Bear® Archery will be licensed to feature "Team Primos Approved Products."
