Elemental Design
Carbon is one of the most abundant elements on earth, but it took the engineers at Hoyt to turn it into the sleek new Carbon Element -- the company's strongest and lightest bow ever.

Weighing in at just 3.6 pounds and measuring 32 inches between the axles, the Carbon Element is compact yet extremely shootable thanks to Hoyt's proprietary hollow carbon tube riser manufacturing process.

In addition to being very durable and light, carbon provides excellent noise and vibration dampening qualities and is warm to the touch for added comfort in cold weather.

The Carbon Element is powered by Hoyt's new Fuel Cam & ½ system, which produces arrow speeds up to 323 fps in combination with a forgiving, 7-inch brace height. The Carbon Element also features Hoyt's XTS PRO ARC laminated limbs, In-Line Roller Guard, offset stabilizer mount for optimal weight distribution, rubberized Silent Shelf to eliminate arrow contact with the riser, Alpha Shox limb silencers, Stealth Shot string dampener, Fuse custom string and cables and more.

Available in draw lengths from 24 1„2-30 inches and peak draw weights from 40-80 pounds.

An Evolving Dream
PSE is taking its popular X-Force bow lineup to the next level in 2011 with new models such as the Dream Season EVO. The EVO offers a surprising combination of speed (up to 345 fps) and smoothness, thanks to the all-new Axe+ Hybrid Cam, which also offers draw-length adjustments from 25 1„2-30 inches, in half-inch increments.

On top of a new, smoother cam, the Dream Season EVO sports PSE's fourth generation X-Tech Split Limbs, new Planar Flex Riser design, a redesigned Centerline Limb Pocket System for consistent shooting, B.E.S.T. RAPTOR Grip, Vibracheck BackStop string silencer and reformulated Vibracheck Limb Bands.

The Dream Season EVO — the official bow of Drury Outdoors' Dream Season television -- also has a 6-inch brace height, 75-percent letoff and an axle-to-axle length of 32 1„2 inches. The bow weighs 4.4 pounds, comes in peak draw weights of 50, 60 and 70 pounds and is available in Satin Black, Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity, Infinity limbs/Black riser and Skulz Camo.

Extreme Performance
The Z7 became Mathews' best-selling bow of all time in 2010. So, for 2011, the company is adding four new models to the Z7 family, led by the new Z7 Xtreme. At just 28 inches axle to axle, the Z7 Xtreme is two inches shorter than the original, yet it offers a highly forgiving 7 3„8-inch brace height and arrow speeds up to 330 fps.

Like all the 2011 Z7 models, the Xtreme features a new ZX Cam that is even smoother and more efficient than the original Z7 Solocam. "The efficiencies are just the best we've ever seen on single cams," said Mathews CEO Matt McPherson, who noted that higher cam efficiency means shooters can pull less draw weight and achieve the same speeds as higher draw-weight bows with less efficient cams.

Like the original Z7, the Z7 Xtreme features Mathews' Grid Lock riser design, SE5 Composite Limbs, SlimFit Inline Grip, Harmonic Damping System, Harmonic Stabilizer, Reverse Assist Roller Guard, dual String Suppressors, Monkey Tails string and cable silencers, Dead End String Stop and more. The Z7 Xtreme weighs 3.98 pounds, has 80-percent letoff, offers draw lengths from 25-30 inches in half-inch increments and peak draw weights of 40, 50, 60, 65 and 70 pounds. Finish options include Lost Camo and black.

Primed and Ready
G5 is making a splash with its new Prime line of premium hunting bows, which solves the longstanding problem of cam lean with proprietary Parallel Cam Technology.

The Parallel Cams on Prime bows take up the string on both sides of the cable, balancing the load and virtually eliminating cam lean and limb torque. The result is a dramatic improvement in accuracy via more consistent horizontal nock travel.

In addition to cutting-edge Parallel Cam Technology, the Prime Centroid features a Forged 7000 series T6 aluminum riser twice as strong as the 6061 T6 aluminum used by competitors and the TI-Glide flexing titanium cable guard system that dramatically reduces cable stress at full draw.

Other highlights include C-1 laminated limbs, a proprietary string blend featuring fibers from Gore and BCY, and 100-Cycle Assurance, which means every Prime bow is assembled, tuned and tested through 100 draw cycles.

The Centroid weighs 4.3 pounds, measures 32 1„4 inches between the axles, has a 7 ¼-inch brace height and IBO speed rating of 332 fps. It's available with peak draw weights of 50, 60 and 70 pounds and can accommodate draw lengths from 27-31 inches. Finished in Gore Optifade camo.

Bear Archery says the new Carnage is the company's fastest, smoothest, most efficient bow ever. That must explain why Bear calls the Carnage "the new, perfect killer." Less Torque, More Fun
Darton's new DS 3800 features the company's new Progressive Torque Reduction (PTR) cable-guard technology, which makes the company's popular DualSync Cam bows more shootable than ever.

Darton's Rex Darlington, a true innovator when it comes to bow technology, focused on making the DualSync system better by reducing the torque applied to the limbs during the draw cycle.

The patent-pending curved shape of the PTR rod allows the cables to move in toward the centerline of the bow, reducing the cable angle as the cable tension increases during the draw cycle -- reducing limb torque.

Secondary benefits are more vane clearance and less cable wear. The DS 3800 also features an IBO speed rating of up to 350 fps with a 6-inch brace height and 80-percent letoff. The DS 3800 weighs 4.1 pounds, measures 33 13„16 inches between the axles and offers draw lengths from 25-31 inches and peak draw weights of 40, 50, 60 and 70 pounds.
