No Creep, Straight Peep

No Creep, Straight Peep

America's Best Bowstrings (ABB) specializes in manufacturing some of the highest-quality strings and cables available. Each string and cable is hand checked by ABB's custom designed ASTM scale and is guaranteed a length tolerance of +/- .010 inches.

To achieve this high standard, ABB developed Equalized Strand Technology (EST), which maintains equal tension on each strand of the string throughout the manufacturing process.

Strings are built with 20 strands of BCY 8125 string material, while cables consist of 24 strands of BCY 452X material. Through testing, they found this combination provides optimum speed and performance.

Use of BCY's high-quality fibers, along with ABB's specialized string building techniques, helps create a string that requires minimal, if any, shoot-in time. Plus, each string comes with a one-year warranty against peep rotation and creep, no matter how much you shoot it. For testing, I ordered a string and cable set for a Quest HPS33.

After having the string and cable installed, I adjusted for the old center shot, set the peep and and tied it in. On the first draw, there was a just a slight angle to the peep. But after a couple twists with fingers and taking a few shots, the peep was trained and coming back perfectly square every time.

To order a custom bowstring from ABB, go to their website and click the "Order Now" link or call and talk to one of their specialists. You have the option of purchasing a string only or a full set (including string and cable) in your choice of color or color combination.
