Introducing the Excalibur Matrix 380 Xtra

Introducing the Excalibur Matrix 380 Xtra

Excalibur Crossbow introduced its brand new compact crossbow Monday at the 2013 ATA Show in Louisville, Ky. More compact than previous models, the Matrix 380 Xtra measures 6 inches narrower and 4 inches shorter than the Equinox — but it doesn't sacrifice power for portability, still firing at 380 fps with 112.3 pounds of kinetic energy. The Matrix 380 Xtra also features better accuracy and balance, and is also easier to cock and quieter when firing, putting more energy into the arrow itself. The Matrix 380 Xtra also includes a Guardian Anti-Dry-Fire system in the scope mount, which catches the string and prevents the crossbow from firing if triggered without an arrow. The Matrix 380 Xtra comes with a Tact-Zone scope designed for low-light shooting, plus Diablo carbon arrows and a quiver designed especially for the crossbow — all available with an MSRP of $1,149.99. Check out the video straight from the 2013 ATA Show.
