Carbon Express D-Stroyer

Carbon Express D-Stroyer

In the new D-Stroyer arrows from Carbon Express, two spines are used to reduce arrow oscillation by half, which results in a higher level of accuracy and improved broadhead flight. These arrows are also finished with the K360 outer layer for added durability, matched to weights of +/- one grain, and laser checked for straightness (+/-.003-inch). Choose from either the 400s (9.3 grains per inch) or the 350s, which weigh 10.2 grains per inch and are an excellent choice for everything from whitetails to moose-sized critters. MSRP: $70-$160 | feradyne.com

Easton 6.5 Match Grade

Easton 6.5 Match Grade

Easton has been producing arrows for just shy of a century, which means they know what they’re doing. If you don’t believe that, check out their new 6.5 Match Grade ammo, which boasts straightness tolerances of +/-.001-inch and are built with specially matched 6.5mm inserts and nocks. What this does is allow Easton to further capitalize on the exacting manufacturing process to increase FOC, stability, and to promote better - more consistent - arrow flight overall. Choose from four spines - 300, 340, 400 and 500. MSRP: $75 | eastonarchery.com

Gold Tip Black Label Quantum

Gold Tip Black Label Quantum

Micro-diameter arrows are all of the rage, and for good reason - they catch less crosswind, penetrate farther, and simply out-perform most standard-diameter shafts. When they are built to tight weight and straightness tolerances like the new Black Label Quantums from Gold Tip, they are even better. These high-modulus carbon arrows are offered in spines of 250, 300, 340 and 400, either fletched or bare. The 250s weigh in at 9.3 grains per inch, which makes them an ideal arrow for the deer woods or the elk mountains. MSRP: $165-$185 | goldtip.com

Nockturnal FIT Nock

Nockturnal FIT Nock

The good news for lighted nock lovers is that the Nockturnal FIT nocks will work with all kinds of arrows. From small diameter .233-inch ID shafts to .246-inch ID shafts, these never-fail-to-light nocks will work with your ammo. They also boast 20-plus hours of battery life, weigh in at 25 grains, and are offered in a ton of different colors. Naturally, you can opt for standards like red or green, but you can also branch out with pink, blue, orange or the strobing options. Red/Green, Red/Blue, and Blue/Green strobing nocks are available and they are all really, really fun to shoot in low light (or pretty much any time there is a game animal within range). MSRP: $35 | feradyne.com

Victory Archery VAP-SS

Victory Archery VAP-SS

The key to the durability of the new VAP-SS micro-diameter arrows from Victory is stainless steel layers that are infused into the 90-degree carbon weave. These arrows are also built to +/- .001-inch straightness tolerances and boast a high, broadhead carrying FOC. And speaking of broadheads and FOC, you’ll notice that these high-end shafts sport the new SHOKTL adapters, which are available in either 50 or 75 grain options. MSRP: $110-$170 | victoryarchery.com

Black Eagle Revelation

Black Eagle Revelation

Spot shooters rejoice, because Black Eagle has released a new target arrow - the Revelation. These .125-inch (ID), full-carbon arrows, which have been over three years in the making, are guaranteed to measure .001-inch or straighter. With a +/- one grain weight tolerance and spines ranging from 300 to 800, all target shooters will be able to find their perfect shafts and their place at the winner’s podium. MSRP: $300 | blackeaglearrows.com

Beman Defender Elite

Beman Defender Elite

Beman has been partially responsible for countless deflated ungulate lungs over the years, a trend that is sure to continue with the Defender Elite shafts. These arrows, which are offered in spines ranging from 300, to 340 and 400, are manufactured with straightness tolerances of +/-.002-inch. Defender Elites are built with USA-made carbon, are fitted with S-nocks on the back end, and utilize precision-machined aluminum inserts on the business end. MSRP: $70 | beman.com
