With a new selection of treestands, ladder stands, and ground blinds being unveiled this week at the 2020 ATA Archery Trade Show in downtown Indianapolis, here’s a look at what’s new on the show floor at the Indiana Convention Center.

Hawk Helium Pro Hang-On

Hawk Helium Pro Hang-On

When you think of treestands for mobile hit-and-run style deer hunting, weight is one consideration, ease of set-up another. The Hawk Helium Pro Hang-On delivers on both fronts, checking in at only 12 pounds in total weight while quickly and securely gripping a tree thanks to the stand’s Cruzr stand bracket and Tree-Digger teeth. When set up properly, this stand hugs a tree tightly and then some. Giving bowhunters a 24x30 platform and 16x10 memory foam padded seat, the Helium Pro stand not only goes up quickly and quietly, but it also provides comfort for lengthy deep-woods sits. With a full-body safety harness, backpack straps, a one-inch cinch strap, and silent over-molding, the Helium Pro Hang-On is a serious turn-key bowhunting platform that should prove perfect for quick-strike strategies when a trail cam photo reveals a new boss buck sighting deep in the deer woods. Summit Ledge XT Hang-On

Summit Ledge XT Hang-On

All-day sits can be the norm for a bowhunter guarding a busy bottleneck promising constant deer traffic during the November rut. To sit for hours on end, comfort and rock-solid stability are a must for stand hunters, and the Summit Ledge XT Hang-On delivers that in spades. The stand is comfortable thanks to a foot-rest, a 24x30-inch platform, and an 18x15.5-inch Textolene seat and backrest. It’s also rugged and solid, able to hold 300-pound loads while being securely locked to a tree measuring 8-20 inches in diameter. Checking in at 23 pounds, this isn’t the lightest choice, although backpack straps are provided. But with Summit’s legendary comfort, rock-solid tree attachment, and a full-body safety harness, the Ledge XT is a hunting platform that is hard to beat, particularly on farms and leases where all season set-up is possible. Big Game Warrior Elite Ultra Wide Ladder Stand

Big Game Warrior Elite Ultra Wide Ladder Stand

The new Big Game Warrior Elite Ultra Wide is spacious and comfortable with a Flex-Tek Zero-Gravity seat, measuring 24 inches wide and 14 inches deep. Built for long, comfortable sits no matter what weapon a hunter is shooting—the stand offers a sizable rail that is perfect for balancing a crossbow—there’s a footrest measuring 18 inches wide and 10 inches deep. If a hunter wants either the shooting rail or footrest out of the picture, simply flip them out of the way. Coming with a full-body safety harness, this Big Game ladder stand not only excels at creature comfort, it also brings stability and rugged construction to the scene as well. Able to support loads up to 300 pounds, this 44-pound stand is stout once it is set up against a tree. With a ratchet strap, two stabilizer bars, and an adjustable ladder support bar, once this stand is locked in place, it is tight and snug to a tree. What’s more, rising 17-feet above the ground, the Warrior Elite gives hunters a high platform that offers a wide view of the forest floor. MSRP: $129.99 | biggametreestands.com

Muddy Outdoors Infinity Blinds

Muddy Outdoors Infinity Blind

The new Infinity Blinds from Muddy Outdoors is available in both a 2-man version (58 inches square at the base, 72 inches square in the center, and 72 inches in height) and a 3-man version (65 inches square at the base, 82 inches square in the center, and 72 inches in height). No matter what bow or crossbow you use—the longest compounds, lengthy recurves, or even a longbow—these blinds are tailor made for bowhunters. Coming in Muddy Outdoors’ Veil Cervidae camouflage pattern, it’s the window set-up where these blinds shine the most. That starts with a variety of opening and shape configurations made possible by the Silent-Slide adjustment system that allows for the independent lowering and raising of the windows. It continues with the dark interior and SHADOW MESH window materials found in these blinds, features that allow hunters to peer out of the blind successfully while keeping game animals from looking in. With two rows of brush/vegetation loops, built in pockets for gear and accessories, a carry bag, rope, and tie-down stakes, these two new ground blinds from Muddy Outdoors are perfect for the deer hunter taking aim from the ground. MSRP: $199.99 for 2-Man, $279.99 for 3-Man | gomuddy.com
