Simplicity can be the best motivation behind innovative products and Savage Systems' takes this to a new level while offering one-pin pendulum sights for the archery hunter. The newest offering in Savage's pendulum series of sights is the Pendulum Super Max with FiberGlo Pin. Pendulum sights are highly popular amongst tree stand hunters and provide one pin for all yardages out to 30 yards. Simply sight in your bow on the ground at 20 yards and your pin will be dead on out to 25 to 30 yards--possibly more or less, depending on arrow speed--thanks to the swinging pendulum that automatically adjusts for yardages. Similar to the Pendulum Max in design and durable construction, the Super Max is now easier to set up than the previous by providing screws with wing nuts that lock down the vertical and horizontal settings without the need for an Allen wrench or hex keys.
The swing unit has been molded into a round black circle, which acts as a pin guard for quick peep alignment shot after shot and to maintain a consistent anchor point for increased accuracy. The FiberGlo pin that comes standard on the Super Max has been improved to be more effective in low light situations. Now, the phosphorescent powder that keeps it glowing is molded right into the body of the pin. The pin edge that faces the shooter has been finished in black so it doesn't distract the shooter when concentrating on the lighted aiming point. If the FiberGlo Pin doesn't suit your needs then three other pin units are offered, which vary in pin size and color so the archer can customize their pin unit.
