Ravin-R29X-ATA2020two.jpg

Ravin’s new R29X still features its patented HeliCoil Technology for better long-range accuracy, a quieter shot, vastly improved string life and a narrow 6-inch axle-to-axle width. But the company added a new Silent Cocking System to ensure the bow is in silent mode continuously, each and every time it’s cocked. The R29X's 12.5-inch power stroke produces 180-foot pounds of kinetic energy and shoots a staggering 450 feet per second with a 400-grain arrow. Customers can opt for the standard R29X, or choose an upgrade to the R29X Sniper Package. The latter option features a tactical crossbow scope, .001 Arrows and the Jack Plate Adjustable Elevation Mount, both in Predator Dusk Camo. MSRP: $2,649.99 standard; $3,049.99 Sniper Package | ravincrossbows.com

TenPoint’s new Vapor RS470 contains all the features today’s discriminating crossbow hunter is looking for. An ultra-narrow 6.5-inch wide reverse-draw bow assembly affords maneuverability in tight quarters along with greater accuracy and reduced vibration and noise. RX7-Cams, DUAL FLEX limbs and SLING-SHOT technology boost arrow speeds up to 470 fps. And the new ACUslide features an Auto-Brake Gear System that allows for silent cocking and safe and controlled de-cocking. Decorated in Veil Alpine camo or Graphite Gray, the Vapor RS470 ships completely assembled and includes the ACUslide cocking and de-cocking system, an Evo-X Marksman precision scope, a STAG hard case, a 6-pack of EVO-X Lighted CenterPunch Premium carbon crossbow arrows (.001" straightness), a 3-pack of EVO-X CenterPunch rear-deploying broadheads, a sling, an integrated String Stop system, and a new new 6-arrow Tech quiver. The Aluminum Hyper-Flite Track with Patented Track and Arrow system also reduces arrow contact on the flight track to just the tip and knock, and when paired with Barnett's, 22-inch, .204 inch small-diameter HyperFlite arrows, produces 420 fps speed and up to 25 percent greater penetration. A trackless aluminum barrel design helps further reduce weight while its 17-inch axle-to-axle width and 33-1/2-inch overall length make it maneuverable in any situation. Meanwhile, its 15-inch power stroke and 190-lb draw weight help it achieve a blistering 405 fps speed rating. Innovative cams build power quickly and then let-off into the trigger box, further reducing string wear and making it super easy to hand cock while also improving accuracy. The skeletonized framework adds rigidity while reducing weight and you can choose from aluminum or carbon frames an 70, 90 and 125 draw weights with speeds up to 350 FPS. For easier transportation, the X16 Tactical breaks into two pieces with the aide of a precision dovetail and comes with its very own travel bag.
