Introducing the 2016 Elite Archery Impulse 31

Introducing the 2016 Elite Archery Impulse 31

Elite Archery has built its brand on bows with maximum "shootability," and the 2016 Elite Archery Impulse 31 builds on that tradition by offering a deadly combination of speed without sacrifice. The Impulse 31 boasts in IBO speed rating of 343 fps via the 2-track cam system, in tandem with a smooth draw cycle and stable platform that is rock solid on target.

The Elite Archery Impulse also features Elite's new, open-geometry 6061T6 aluminum riser designed to distribute load over a greater surface area and improve stiffness. The result of Elite's exclusive Riser Cage design is reduced torque at full draw and a "dead in hand" feel at the shot. Also new for 2016 is the Perfect Alignment Limb System limb pocket, providing a strong foundation for balanced, forgiving shooting.

Our Editor in Chief Christian Berg got to shoot the brand new Elite Archery Impulse 31 at ATA Show 2016.

The Impulse 31 also comes standard with premium Winner's Choice string and cables. The Impulse 31 measures 31 inches axle to axle, has a 6-inch brace height and weighs 4.2 pounds. It accommodates draw lengths from 26-30 inches, in half-inch increments, and is available in peak draw weights of 40, 50, 60, 65, 70 and 80 pounds.

Finish options include Realtree Xtra, Max-1 and AP Snow camo, Kuiu Vias and Verde camo and Ninja Black, and cams, modules, cable rods and limb pockets are coated in Elite's ultra-matte and ultra-durable PRO KOTE finish. It will MSRP at $999.

The Elite Archery Impulse is one of the smoothest bows on the market.
